Since TIPC’s formation in 2016, member researchers and policymakers have put policy practice under the microscope to examine and co-create transformative experiments that help to tackle the Sustainable Development Goals.
This work has led to the newly-devised ‘TIPC Methodology, a multi-step learning journey that utilises Formative Evaluation as a springboard towards Transformative Outcomes.
We are now testing the TIPC Methodology in a number of live policy experiments, each embedded in the context and reality of TIPC member countries. The learnings and outcomes of each experiment form a knowledge feedback loop into the centre of the Consortium for understanding and use by other members through the TIPC Policy Lab (MoTIL), and through activities for learning and capacity development.
The diversity of experimental contexts across the Global South and North provides rigour and allows for comparative analysis of Transformative Outcomes and Transformative Innovation Policies.
