We aim to build a shared space within the conference for collective reflection around a series of generative questions that motivate discussion. The format is experimental and is focused on the role of knowledge generators in transformation within a contextual space and scale. We intend to have two moments happening during the conference.
The first moment is a closed 2-hour workshop with the team presenting this proposal, although a number of observants could be allowed. It will be held in Spanish and intends to share the team’s knowledge and experience around the following questions:
• How can knowledge generation institutions contribute to promoting transformative alternatives within their contextual space and scale influence?
• How can these alternatives be embedded and mainstreamed?
• Can the Transformative Outcomes be relevant to make more transformative those initiatives? In what sense?
In a second 2-hour open workshop (in English), the main ideas debated in the first workshop will be presented and discussed with a panel of researchers linked to TIPC.
The conclusions of the first and second workshops will be systematised and presented in a TIPC blog.
