Sustainable Development, Green Technologies MSc. Candidate and enthusiast; multidisciplinary at hard with both environmental engineering and business studies in addition to interests in green entrepreneurship, space and writing. He is the kind of character who would be taking courses on the Arctic, write poems on Lucy Space Mission to the Trojan Asteroids and would suggest carbon financing schemes to finance the protection of the Amazon rainforests from wildfires. Ideally, Abd El Hamid is interested in interdisciplinary discussions and cross-cutting knowledge sharing with interest in fast movement of ideas shared in classrooms into real world applications. Abd El Hamid thinks that automation and the over-reliance on technology increases risk factors and should raise more questions for sustainability practitioners than what is currently raised in addition to political and socio-cultural impacts on our definition of the social contract and the human spirit.
