Biography
Elizabeth Bernal Gamboa is the academic coordinator of the Colombian Association of Universities - ASCUN and a professor at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. She has been an expert advisor, researcher, project manager and academic administrator in higher education with universities, consulting firms, with the Convenio Andrés Bello and with the Ministry of National Education. She has taught at the university in the fields of anthropology, political science, and research. Her most recent publications deal with the topics of university management and the 2030 Agenda. She also has publications related to the challenges of education and social mobility in Latin America, management of internationalization strategies for higher education in Latin America and the Caribbean, management of quantitative information in universities, prospective plans for universities, participation in the reform of higher education policy in Colombia and quality assurance and management for higher education institutions and programs, as well as other publications about anthropology in Colombia.
