Biography
Vice chancellor for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship of the Autonomous University of the West (Cali, Colombia). Jesús David Cardona is a production engineer at the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente (Cali, Colombia), with a Master in Software Engineering at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca (Spain). He has Advanced Studies in Informatics Engineering and he is a Doctor of Informatics Engineering in the Software Engineering Program at the Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca. He is a Professor and researcher, consultant and advisor on digital transformation, innovation management and entrepreneurship in higher education. Active member of the board of TECNALIA Colombia. He has been a guest lecturer and speaker at national and international events. He has published books and journal papers about his research topics. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses at several universities. He is a researcher of the Research Group in Telematics and Applied Informatics - GITI, and director of the ExPiN Media Lab (http://expinmedialab.co/) at the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente. He has held academic management positions as Head of Information Sciences Department, Director of the Multimedia Engineering Program and Head of Operations and Systems Department at the Universidad Autónoma de Occidente.
